Daphne Moon (Jane Leeves)

Daphne is the home healthcare worker hailing from Manchester, England.

She has always been oblivious to Niles's feelings for her, only recently finding out.

Since moving in to Frasier's apartment she has seemed to inherited all of the household chores, much to her annoyance.

Daphne rarely plays an important part in the storylines of "Frasier" (at least not in the earlier series) but her one-liners would be missed if they weren't there.

Quotes:

Daphne: I'm from England, the country that used to own you people.

Daphne: Sex! That's your answer for everything! It's like you're part rabbit. People ought to rub your feet for luck!

[On Granny Moon's plum duff (pudding boiled in a cloth bag, soaked for hours in rum, then ignited)]
Daphne: As soon as she came out of the kitchen with no eyebrows, we knew desert was ready. To this day, the smell of burning hair puts me in the holiday spirit.

[On Granny Moon's buns, which she served as part of her traditional English breakfast]
Daphne: I decided to prepare you a traditional English breakfast...And to finish it off, a batch of Granny Moon's famous sticky buns. Granny made these every Sunday. Of course, she always added a pint of rum to the recipe. Nobody liked these more than Granny herself. Many's the Sunday I'd head over to her house after church, only to find her out in the garden in her wedding drerss, facedown in the birdbath.
